Dave believes strongly that infrastructure investments in our region have not been sufficient to address the maintenance required. He has been a passionate advocate for increased infrastructure spending in Albert-Riverview for the last five years and was involved in the petitioning for a school parking lot repair at Salisbury Regional School, gaining public and media attention when he mailed pieces of the parking lot to all sitting MLAs in Fredericton.
A passionate advocated for children, Dave has also spent multiple years advocating for seniors and community members faced with mobility issues through his service to Urban Rural Rides. Dave would like to see a plan to support seniors to age in place, at home, whenever possible which will reduce stress on our hospitals and improve the living conditions of our loved ones. Additionally plans to develop and expand a system of medical clinics in the province will further work to reduce stress on our hospitals.
Dave is committed to working directly with our municipal partners to ensure our provincial government supports our region and sets our local authorities up for success. Our municipal partners are working hard to build vibrant, sustainable, safe communities and need an engaged and supportive provincial partner.
Having a history of supporting local food banks and school breakfast programs Dave is a passionate advocate for a new universal breakfast and lunch program that is operated consistently across the province.
A community minded New Brunswicker who is passionate about our rural region, Dave is eager to see Fredericton increase investment in Albert-Riverview supporting our vibrant region for years to come.
