Our facility has a large stage with a sound system and seating for approximately 70 guests on the upper level. Our lower level includes a kitchen , 2 washrooms and finished basement with capacity for another 30-40 people. The Centre has always been a pillar of the community and has a long history.
Originally the building house the Curryville Methodist Church, which later became the Curryville United Church in 1905. They were part of a three point charge including Hillsborough and Hopewell Cape.
The corner stone was laid in July 19th 1905. The existing building that we have now, was replacing an older church that was partially burned and located where the Curryville Cemetery is. The first church, was built in 1855 which means that the community has had a church for 170 years.
