Hello, Albert County! My name is Emma Llewellyn, and I am beyond excited to share my passion for dance with you. Having grown up in Edgetts Landing, I know firsthand the warmth and spirit of this community. After years of training, performing, choreographing, and teaching in Toronto—where I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance Dance from Toronto Metropolitan University—I am thrilled to return home and bring the joy of dance to this special place.
I would like to create a space in Albert County where students can learn, grow and explore their artistic potential in dance. My dream is to establish a dance program that teaches technique and nurtures a deep love for the art form. Whether it’s ballet, jazz, contemporary, or acro, my goal is to provide a supportive and inspiring environment where dancers of all levels can thrive.
If you or someone you know would be interested in dance classes in Albert County, I would love to hear from you! Classes will begin in the late spring at the Albert County Museum, with a small community performance with costumes and music to follow. I am compiling a contact list to provide details to interested families. If you’d like to stay updated, please email me at [email protected] so I can add you to the mailing list. Classes will be available for dancers from age five and will continue through their teenage years to adulthood.
I can’t wait to see the art of dance flourish in our community, and I look forward to dancing with you all soon!
