The Albert County Historical Society and Museum extend “New Year Wishes” of happiness, well-being, prosperity and memorable times with loved ones and friends.
As the ACHS begins the New Year of 2026, we must never forget the Society’s formation in 1951.... and the Society’s past years of progress and growth achieved by the hard-working, dedicated ACHS Directors and Museum volunteers who enabled the Society to reach this New Year! “Without the stairs of the past, you cannot arrive at the future.”

In review, 2025 was a very successful year that included well attended heritage celebrations, exciting new exhibits, presentations, completion of work projects in artefact collections, as well as greatly appreciated donations of historically significant artefacts.
ACHS welcomes 2026 with optimism and a hopeful spirit with the goals of achieving new opportunities for community outreach, as well as creating new exhibits and programming to increase the number of Museum visitors to learn of the proud history and heritage of Albert County.
The Celebration of the “50th Anniversary of the ACHS Quilt Show “will bring great excitement throughout the open season of the Museum!“ The planning of the celebration events, fun activities, presentations, Barn Quilt Trail and much more is already underway, so stay tuned!!
