Footloose in Fundy Albert is back - and this year we want to take home the big prize: $100,000!
The ParticipACTION Community Challenge is a fun, nation-wide event that takes place every June. People, schools, businesses, and organizations from all over Canada join in to help their community become Canada’s Most Active Community. The community with the most activity could win $100,000 to support local sports and recreation. There are also smaller weekly prizes and grants of up to $1,500 to help make sure everyone has a chance to join, especially people who face barriers. Everyone can track their physical activity using the ParticipACTION app or website.

Local businesses and groups in Fundy Albert can help by hosting events, encouraging staff and community members to be active, and logging their minutes. It’s a great way to bring people together, promote healthy habits, and show pride in your community. Salisbury, NB won the grant in 2023 - we know this is an achievable goal!
