With the beautiful and vibrant fall colours of Fundy Albert fading away, the Fundy Curling Club is looking forward to another fantastic season of curling that is on our doorstep!
The off season was a busy one at the club and we are excited to show off our new look. Updated flooring and a fresh coat of paint have brightened up the clubhouse. New white wall panels have been installed around the curling rink and custom designed curling houses are ready to be installed by our ice makers. These improvements are sure to make the club shine both on and off the ice and we can’t wait for you to come check it out!

Much planning over the summer has gone into our upcoming Little Rocks and U18 programs. Little Rocks is offered to children aged 6-12 while U18 is for ages 13-18. A huge thanks to Adrianne Sharp and Derek Lackey at Lackey Advertising as well as Ian Pettigrew for donating their time and creative energy to design our brand new youth curling logo! Thanks also to the Bennett and Albert County Healthcare Foundation for their generous donation of a Floor Curling set to our youth program. Our volunteer coaches are excited to use the set at the Riverside school and at the club. Registration is now open for youth curling and the cost is $50.00 for the 10 week programs which will operate on Sunday afternoons starting on January 5th.
Now that we have the kids taken care of for winter activities what about you? Never curled before or have not been on the ice in a while? Wonder why those curling folks on TV are always yelling “Hurry Hard” at each other? If this is the case, the FCC Adult Learn to Curl program is for you. The program consists of three evening sessions on Dec. 2nd, 3rd and 4th from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. At the end of the program you will have the skills and confidence to slide right into our adult leagues. Registration is now open for Adult Learn to Curl and the cost is $50.00 for the program. At the end of the three evening course, if you decide to become a member of the club and play in the adult leagues, the $50.00 fee will be deducted from your adult membership.

In an effort to keep the sport affordable and accessible to the community, we continue to offer the lowest rates and best value curling in all of New Brunswick. Adult membership rates, which include unlimited week night curling, HST and membership in Curl NB are $175.00 for a single and $325.00 for a couple. We also have three weekend bonspiels and the occasional Saturday evening event.

The FCC and CCRC are happy to welcome the Albert County Trail Blazers as a new partner in this fantastic fundraiser. This is a chance to come out and have some fun, share in a meal, play some cards and maybe win the draw
