The ice at the Fundy Curling Club is in and the curling rink has never looked better! With the addition of new wall panels around the ice surface, 24 and counting fantastic, colourful signs from our generous sponsors, brighter and more efficient LED lighting and beautiful new custom in ice curling houses you are sure to be dazzled as you slide down the ice. If you prefer to watch the action for the comfort of the clubhouse, you will be treated to brand new flooring and fresh coat of paint which lends a great feel to the club. A huge thanks goes out to all our dedicated volunteers and sign sponsors who pitched in to make all these wonderful improvements possible.

What better way to kick off the curling season than to get our local youth out on the ice and give them the opportunity to try out the sport curling. Our youth coaches had a great time hosting the local Girl Guides and all the students from the Riverside Consolidated School in some free introduction to curling sessions. The kids proved to be quick learners and it was not long before they were sliding on the ice making some spectacular shots with huge smiles on their faces.
Thanks to the Guides for fortifying our coaches with cookies and the school for the delicious turkey dinner between curling sessions. We look forward to continuing and expanding our partnerships with local organizations to showcase our Little Rocks and U18 curling programs. January is going to be an action-packed month at the club with all of our adult programs in full swing. With curling offered every week-night and leagues to fit all skill levels, this is the year for you to take to the ice and get involved in the FCC. Monday, Tuesday and Friday nights are great nights to get started in our mixed recreational leagues, Wednesday is ladies night and Thursday night is our competitive league. Combined with our leagues, we are also offering two special Saturday events in January. On the 4th we have our get acquainted bonspiel and on the 25th there will be a doubles bonspiel. If you are looking for a fun and unique activity for corporate team building, birthday party, etc. why not give curling a try? We now offer ice rentals by the hour to groups and would be happy to host whatever function you have in mind. All curling equipment is provided and we can also offer basic curling instruction before your group takes to the ice. Bar service can be arranged for you when you come off the ice for some après curling time. For information and pricing on group ice rentals please contact [email protected]
