Keeping up with Caledonia has transitioned to Friends of the Tigers to align with the various initiatives being conducted by the school and the greater community of Fundy-Albert.
So, who are the Friends of the Tigers?
The Friends of the Tigers are a group of individuals who are looking to strengthen the bond between the Fundy-Albert community and our local schools.
Who can become a Friend of the Tigers?
Anyone and everyone that is looking to support our students in experiencing school-life to its fullest!
Friends of the Tigers work together to support student extra curricular activities in whatever means they are capable of! Some ways to help out our Tigers are to:
- Donate money directly to the school (tax receipts available for donations of $25+).
- Donate money directly to Friends of the Tigers (no tax receipts available).
- Volunteer your time at fundraising events.
- Donate goods or services to aid in fundraising efforts.
- Participate in fundraising events to show your support.
- Follow our Facebook page, like and share our posts and invite everyone you know to join us!
When and where can I show my support?
We are currently developing activities in the community to support our mission. Keep an eye on our Facebook page, the Connecting Albert County e-magazine and our website (Friendsofthetigers.org), to stay up to date.
Who do I contact if I have any questions?
If you have any questions, want to reach out to get involved, or are looking to make a donation, we can be reached at [email protected].
We look forward to coming together as a community to support the upcoming generations. You know what they say, it takes a village.
Thank you!
The Tigers wish to express their appreciation to everyone who supported them at the Albert County Exhibition Dining Hall. Approximately1600 meals were sold with profits going towards graduation fees.
Upcoming Event
The Tigers are ready to welcome you to a spooky walk in the woods as their next fundraiser. The Steevescote Haunted Trail is happening just in time for Halloween. As the legend goes, in October 1867, 12 year old Stanley Steeves vanished into the woods. His family, in search of him, vanished as well. The locals say Stanley still walks these woods and in October, his family can be heard, and seen, searching still. Come and join Stanley’s family in the search….. if you dare. The event is being held October 17 and 18, 24 and 25, 7:00-10:00 (gate opens at 6:30) at 211 Steevescote Road, Dawson Settlement, NB. Price of admission is $15 per person. This is a natural, wooded trail with dim lighting so proceed with caution. Recommend 13+ for this event.
