As August makes way for September, this too means the hustle and bustle of school is also upon us. The teachers, administrators and custodial staff have been busy preparing for the students arrival. The 2025/2026 school year commences on Tuesday, September 2nd. Please see the school’s website at Caledonia.nbed.ca for bus and class schedules as well as other important notices and announcements.
The Graduating Class of 2026 are hitting the ground running with the first of their activities happening quickly. You’ll catch them helping out in the dining hall at the Albert County Exhibition, September 11-14. This is an annual event for the graduates. There are many ways to support the grads in this endeavour. You can see them at the dining hall while you enjoy a delicious turkey or roast beef dinner (see the Albert County Exhibition schedule for the daily menu) as well as donating items such as homemade pies and pickles.
Contact any of the graduates or the school for more information on what items they are in need of.
Sports will be starting quickly, with soccer kicking off first, quickly followed by basketball. If you’re interested in volunteering and/or coaching, please contact Caledonia’s Athletic Director, Matthew MacBeth at [email protected].
The beginning of the school year is full of potential and promise. We look forward to celebrating our students and staff on their many accomplishments and successes to come.
Keeping up with Caledonia will be a monthly recap on successes made by our High School and Middle School students, a keep-the-date announcement for any upcoming events, a forum to share the needs of the students, as well as the school and how you, the community, can help. We believe students with a community behind them can do amazing things.
