If you have not yet seen it, the symbol of Remembrance Day - the POPPY - will be evident throughout your community soon. Local businesses will be partnering with the Legion to offer Poppy pins for you to purchase and display on your lapels. This gesture reflects our gratitude to those who have served in both World Wars, Afghanistan, Peace Keepers, and our active Armed Forces.
As well as Poppy pins, crosses and wreaths can be purchased in memory of beloved veterans. Call the Legion at 506 734 2289 on Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday to place your order or for further information.

The Poppy Campaign is not only a reflection on the sacrifices made by a few for the benefit of the many, but also a major

Ceremonies will occur in Alma and Riverside Albert in November. As well, the annual gathering at the cenotaph in Hillsborough on November 11 will take place, followed by a social at the Legion - all are welcome. In the evening, a supper will be offered to recognize veteran and Legion members. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Legion.
