While we continue to enjoy these beautiful fall days, it is almost hard to believe that Christmas in the Country will be here in less than a month! The first weekend of December includes the last day of November – Saturday November 30 and Sunday December 1.
Watch for the colorful red cardinal signs in front of the participating vendors – artists, artisans, crafts, baking, pickles, wine, syrup, sweets, antiques, second hand treasures, specials at restaurants – there is literally something for EVERYONE this year!
Look for special offerings for breakfast, snacks, Victorian Tea and lunch or supper at local restaurants and “pop-up” culinary experiences, often as fundraisers for local organizations and charities.
The MAP will be available at local outlets before the event, as well as online on the Christmas in the Country Facebook page. Plan your weekend, with stops along Rt. 114, Rt. 915, The Mary’s Point Road – the hardest part will be figuring out how to get to all the spots you want to see!
Remember, “ When you shop with local small businesses, more of your money stays in your community.” It’s quite likely that you can fill most of your Christmas shopping lists at Christmas in the Country!
