Connecting Albert County: Advertising 2026-2027

Albert County is something special.
  • It could be the sense of community, where the small town, big heart feel we live in lets us count on our neighbors to show up in times of celebration or if things hard.
  • It could be our connection to nature, where country living isn’t just something we do, it’s in our blood - it is part of who we are.
  • It could be our sense of pride, where we remember where we’ve come from, and the local knowledge, stories, and traditions that have been passed down over generations.
  • It could be the camaraderie we feel, where we welcome all who join us in developing our community, our pursuit of creating opportunities for each other, and being a self-sufficient and thriving society.
It could be any of these things. It could be even more.

Connecting Albert County is part of that something special.
Like Albert County, our origins are humble but powerful. A group of over 14 people all representing different parts of our community came together. Their mission? To help our large region to connect, to be informed, and to celebrate our place and culture using print and online media.

For over 11 years, have done just that. We have provided our community with information on people, places, and events in rural Albert County, from Riverview to Alma to Elgin. And we have achieved these results as a primarily volunteer-run organization, and as a non-profit. That means all of our income goes 100% back into the organization - which means 100% of our income goes back to the community and its people. It means no one viewpoint is being shared - that we are open and inclusive to all. This is a publication that is fully from our people for our people.

What started as a one page events notice has turned into a 30-page publication, in print, digital, and audiobook format. We share stories that celebrate and educate; we share information that keeps us engaged, appreciating each other, and knowledgeable about what is happening from one end of the region to the other.

You are invited to turn our loyal and engaged readership into loyal and engaged customers/clients for your business/organization.
How? Its simple. Advertise with us or sponsor the publication.

If you want to show your pride of place, support a grass-roots organization that is run by locals, written by locals, and uplift local people, places, and businesses, look no further!

Show the community you care, and reach locals and visitors by advertising in our monthly publication, Connecting Albert County.
