If you have ever wondered what CCRC does, here is your answer. The Chipoudy Communities Revitalization Committee has a mandate (in part) to encourage and inspire sustainable economic and healthy social environments. These are some of our projects that positively impact the community where we live.
If you have ever wondered what CCRC does, here is your answer. The Chipoudy Communities Revitalization Committee has a mandate (in part) to encourage and inspire sustainable economic and healthy social environments. These are some of our projects that positively impact the community where we live.
WELCOME COMMITTEE
Since starting our welcome committee in 2019, we have delivered 69 welcome bags to area newcomers. The purpose of the welcome committee is simply to assist newcomers to become comfortable and knowledgeable about our community. To that end we offer a CCRC shopping bag filled with gifts and local opportunities to each newcomer that we identify.
If you know of someone who is new to the area and would like to be welcomed by a CCRC representative, please let us know by email, message or through our website.

That's right- we have a wonderful new website that showcases our initiatives and accomplishments. All contacts that come through our website during the month of January will be put in a draw to win a dinner for two.
CHASE THE ACE
This is CCRC's major fundraiser. All funds raised through Chase the Ace stay in the community. It's a fun Friday night activity at the Fundy Curling Club, with different theme nights offered. Gather up some friends and come out to support your community. Ticket sales are on Fridays 5:30- 7:00 with the draw at 7:30. If you can't make it on a Friday, tickets are available at Crooked Creek Convenience Monday through Thursday.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
CCRC is always looking for community-minded members to support our objectives. If you are interested and want to see what we are about, come out to our monthly meetings which are held at 7:00 on the 3rd Tuesday of the month in the lower level of the Riverside Recreation Center. Tune in next month to hear about some of our other projects.
