Visitors arrived from Saint John, Moncton and Riverview for the August 8th CCRC Garden Tour in the Hopewell Hill to Alma area. One couple from the Fundy Gardeners Club in Saint John expressed great delight over all the gardens and noted that the drive was certainly worth the trip and they were looking forward to next year. They participate in a group that visits gardens every week and noted our gardens were certainly as lovely. All participants were delighted with the fresh biscuit, real whip cream strawberry shortcake cooked and served by Barb Gebuhr and her sister Jean.
The garden hosts, Stacey Lockhart, Stephen and Elaine Holmstrom, Myrna Stewart, Fatima LeFrancois, Rena Bleakney, Ira Wilbur and Doris Hatt topped the day with their hospitality, warmth and welcoming manners. Watch for more details and pictures on the website.
