The need to focus more on the Museum's social media presence was brought up. Currently, the Museum has nearly 500 followers on Facebook and a blog on the Museum's website. A target of two social media posts every week was set. It was also agreed that the Museum should make better use of its digital collection.
Other topics discussed were the food-related events for the coming year, possible use of the museum’s diary collection for engagement activities, and what other milestones the Albert County Museum should highlight.
The Historical Society intends to have a planning meeting every week until June; meetings are tentatively scheduled for Thursday evenings.
