The goal of the Molly Kool Award is to recognize women for outstanding contributions to the community in such areas as arts, culture, conservation, and environment. Candidates for the award must be a woman who is an established resident of Southeastern New Brunswick, who --through the execution of her job, volunteering, or personal endeavours -- enriches the community fabric in a significant way, who embodies the selfless, humble spirit of Molly Kool and would not normally seek recognition for their contributions.
Please consider who you could nominate and request an application to submit before the September 15, 2015 deadline. Contact:[email protected] or visit the Molly Kool Centre Facebook Page or the Molly Kool Award Facebook Page.
Written by Jane Chrysostom. Jane has continuous roots in New Brunswick that go back to the early 1800's. She and her husband Steve run a Bookshop, Bed & Breakfast, and the Artisan's Shop on Main Street in Alma at Cleveland Place. Now that their four children have independent lives, Jane spends her time running Cleveland Place, volunteering in the community, and creating in her studio where much inspiration comes from Albert County.
