Wednesday, May 10 - We’re hosting Symphony New Brunswick presenting a power-packed program that opens with Ravel’s dynamic Bolero and concludes with Mussorgsky’s explosive Pictures at an Exhibition. In between, the ensemble performs the world premier of River Run by Los Angeles-based Canadian composer, Heather Schmidt, which has been especially commissioned for THIS occasion!
Friday, May 19 - We’ll greet, for the first time, The Gilberts who are a sibling trio bringing vibrant three-part harmonies, soulful lyricism, and diverse influences to their multiple award- winning music performance, including folk, choral, Celtic, and country.
Saturday, June 10 - We’re welcoming back David Myles – musician, songwriter, recording artist, host, interviewer, author and entertainer, who has thirteen award-winning records and numerous collaborations to his credit.
Saturday, July 8 - We’ve been granted permission to come aboard with Before the Mast, a group of men who sing to entertain and introduce audiences to the amazing richness and vitality of shipboard work songs, and to celebrate our rich and storied maritime heritage right next to ShipYard Park at Harvey Hall. By necessity, shanties were sung without instrumental accompaniment and Before The Mast sings a cappella to honour this tradition.
Saturday, July 22 - We’ve invited local New Brunswick favourites, Isaac & Blewett & Friends, back to their familiar wooden stage. Smack in the middle of summer, smack in the middle of Fundy Albert, this mid-season performance will be a highlight of summer entertainment fun.
