Urban/Rural Rides provides transportation to seniors and low-income families for medical appointments and food bank access. As the demand for service continues to grow throughout Southeast New Brunswick, the need to add more amazing volunteers to the team continues to be essential in supporting transportation requests. The goal is to make sure everyone who lacks transportation to appointments because they cannot drive, do not have a vehicle, and/or do not have family or neighbors who can assist them can find a friendly helping hand from a volunteer driver.
If you have a few hours a week to extend an act of kindness by driving someone to an appointment, please contact us. Volunteer drivers are reimbursed $.50/km as well as receive other community incentives.
