The Albert County Winter Carnival will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018 in the centre of Hillsborough. The community event offers free admission and activities, and free treats (including hot chocolate, maple taffy, and coffee). The carnival will feature free horse-drawn wagon rides by Broadleaf Guest Ranch and live entertainment. The event is a cornucopia of indoor and outdoor activities.
Festivities include skating, snowshoe and cross-country ski races, and the outdoor shinny hockey classic, along with ice golf putting, geocaching and demonstrations by the Fundy Blades Skating Club. The Kiwanis and Visitor Information Centres will provide warm-up zones and washrooms.
