The Albert County Chamber of Commerce (ACCC) is pleased to announce that the 6th Annual Business Excellence Awards will be held on Thursday, May 11th. After a successful return to an in-person celebration at Broadleaf Guest Ranch in 2022, the Awards have returned to traveling throughout the County! This year's event will be hosted at Holy Whale in Riverview at the Chocolate River Station.
It's always a pleasure to formally recognize and celebrate the distinguished business and community leaders within Albert County. This year's celebration continues to honour our elegant, personalized and community-focused history attendees know and love. The event will include our signature awards by Glass Roots, local, live music by Fundy Ceilidh, a silent auction featuring beautiful local items, and door prizes - all whilst telling the stories of our local business community.

ACCC continues to grow the Awards event taking into consideration feedback from the business community. This means that this year will offer more opportunities for networking and accessibility. The event will be on a Thursday evening giving more businesses that are busy on weekends an opportunity to attend. In addition, guests will find a more fluid event with more time for mingling over a beautiful multi-course tasting menu offered by Sophia & Spritz, (owned by Albert County resident James Hughes), drink pairings featuring Holy Whale Brewery products, and other delicious Albert County surprises.
Albert County has always had a special relationship with the arts. From painting to pottery, cuisine to cinema, writing to woodworking, the Albert County Chamber of Commerce believes our region boasts some of the most talented artists in the world, and we want to show them off! As part of our celebration, the Chamber is coordinating an Albert County Artist Row in the atrium of the Chocolate River Station during the day leading up to the Awards with a special viewing during the event.
Last but not least, nominations are open! We encourage all members of the public to get involved and nominate their favourite Albert County businesses as soon as possible. All nominated businesses will be eligible for the People's Choice Award. The deadline for nominations is April 3rd and public voting for the People's Choice Award will be held online and at participating locations throughout the County between April 6th and 27th.
