The Chipoudy Community Revitalization Committee (CCRC) hosted its 4th Annual Job Fair in April. We would like to thank the employers and job seekers for their participation. We welcome suggestions that could improve this event in the future.
The Chipoudy Community Revitalization Committee (CCRC) hosted its 4th Annual Job Fair in April. We would like to thank the employers and job seekers for their participation. We welcome suggestions that could improve this event in the future.
The CCRC was very proud and excited to be nominated for the Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year Award, and would like to congratulate all the nominees for a job well done! A big thank-you to the Chamber for hosting this event showcasing outstanding Albert County achievements and hard work.
Our Chase the Ace lottery, in cooperation with the Fundy Cur-ling Club, is back up and running every Friday night. A few rules have changed due to Lottery Regulations, as well as suggestions from the public. All tickets are now one colour; you can purchase 3 for $5 or 25 for $25! Chef Stephen is on deck most Friday nights serving up one of his local favourites. Come out and bring a friend for a Friday night social and have a beverage with our community. Club opens at 6pm, tickets are on sale until 7:15, and the draw is at 7:30.
Would you like to become more involved in your community? Do you have ideas that would help our community thrive? The CCRC meets monthly and is always open to new members and ideas. If you have a project you would like to see come to fruition or would like to approach the CCRC for funding, come talk to us at a meeting or send us your ideas.
