As the first snow begins to fly, we are pleased to inform you that Fundy National Park will be offering a Canada 150 Celebratory Winter Experience to kick off the year 2017: the 150th Anniversary of Confederation!
For a twelve-week period from December 31, 2016 to March 27, 2017, visitors will be able to reserve overnight stays in the park’s 2 rustic cabins located in the mid-country; as well as the 5 yurts, 10 oTENTiks and several tenting campsites located in the Headquarters Campground. To further enhance and facilitate the winter experience at Fundy National Park, the Visitor Reception Centre will remain open to provide current information and trip planning services to visitors and we will also open and maintain several front country washroom facilities for the winter season.
Reservations for accommodations start on Dec 14th, 2016 on the PC Reservation system at https://reservation.pc.gc.ca/ParksCanada
Fundy National Park will be offering a select number of trails for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing on groomed trails and fat bike cycling.
Parks Canada is looking forward to working closely with our stakeholders including local recreational groups, businesses and tourism operators to maximize this special winter experience in the Fundy Region`s winter tourism offer.
