The Hillsborough Farmers Market, now in its’ 3rd year, is home to small local businesses including crafters, producers, artisans and makers, as well as Oliver’s German Bakery.
You can often hear the musical talents of Fundy Ceilidh accompanying you as you browse or sit for a Buddha Bear coffee and a home-made treat. The beautiful atmosphere at 2807 Main St. Hillsborough with the stained glass windows, vaulted wooden ceilings and friendly chatter is a cozy place to gather with friends and catch up.

New for 2019, we are implementing a new green Initiative which includes eliminating disposal cups, and instead offering a Mug Library where people can ‘take out’ a mug for the day and return it at the day’s end to be cleaned and re-used. We also have a Waste Sorting Station including a redeemables bin where funds collected will go to the Green Thumbs Garden Club at the Hillsborough Elementary School. As well, there is a conscious effort from the vendors to minimize the use of plastics.
Also new is our Art Wall, a wonderful new feature. As you sip on your coffee, you can view pieces from local artists.
