Shepody Food Bank continues to serve the approximately 80 households in need within our catchment area. This year, we were fortunate to have such exceptional support from local businesses, churches, organizations and individuals that we were able to reduce ourdependence on government grants. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to all our supporters. Special thanks goes to Hopewell Rocks, which once again sponsored two “Albert County Appreciation Days” during the year. These events are a major resource for our organization. On these days, admission fees are waived in exchange for donations of non-perishable foods or cash to Shepody Food Bank.

We also received a Rural Transportation Grant through Food Banks Canada, funded by Syngenta and Farm Credit Canada. Transporting our food from the Food Depot in Moncton is a major expense; we really appreciate the generous help from these sponsors.
Our volunteers are dedicated people who are generous with their time. We could not operate without them, so a huge thank you to them as well.
