Riverside Consolidated School is excited to announce that they will be offering a pilot French program beginning in September 2017. The new program is a 2 year pilot called FLORA (French Learning Opportunities for Rural Areas) which will focus on teaching reading, writing and oral communication in French. Riverside is one of 4 schools in the province and the only school in Anglophone East School District offering the program. It is designed for students in K-3 in schools who do not offer French Immersion but have expressed an interest in French learning opportunities for their students.
