Tele-Drive wants to express their disappointment, sadness and disbelief that the Province has drastically reduced their financial support to enable them to continue. In the Province’s effort to take over affordable transportation from Tele-Drive and another volunteer driver organization they failed to meet their financial promises for this transition, leaving Tele-Drive without the necessary funds to continue to provide reliable and sustainable service.
The Board of Tele-Drive held an emergency meeting and had to make this upsetting decision to discontinue under these circumstances. Last day for rides will be June 28th, 2019.
More information will be supplied as it becomes available.
