2018 race The Village of Riverside-Albert will host the 9th annual Shepody Day Celebration on Saturday,
July 13th. This is a community event with activities for all ages. This year’s celebration will highlight the Shepody River and its historical importance in our village. Kayak race teams will be raising money for the Riverside-Albert Community Playground Project.

Races begin at 1pm with viewing from the riverbank adjacent to the Riverside Consolidated School. Everyone is invited to come out for the day. Lunch will be available on site from the Riverside-Albert Fire Department’s hot dog truck and free strawberry shortcake will be served for dessert. Shepody Day will also have fireworks at dusk on Water Street followed by a dance at Fundy Curling Club.
