This cheque was part of the donations given by Winston Churchill Chapter to local organizations which are standing with them to make life better for others. The Winston Churchill Chapter is part of the Order of the Eastern Star found in countries worldwide and dedicated to assisting charities and individuals.
Another cheque was presented by Nancy Keirstead and Dawne McLean of Winston Churchill Chapter to Forest Dale Home to assist with programs for its residents. In addition to donations to the national campaigns by the Cancer Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Winston Churchill Chapter is proud to assist local initiatives such as the one for the residents of Forest Dale Home. Congratulations to the staff and volunteers who run these programs.
