For over ten years, The Rocks has been partnering with The Shepody Food Bank to bring you Albert County Appreciation Days. For a donation of a food item or cash, park admission fees are waived for the day; giving you full access to the park grounds and activities. Since 2007, proceeds from these park days have generated approximately one third of the Shepody Food Bank’s annual budget and continue to serve as a crucial part of their ability to service the community.
Chocolate River Publishing will be celebrating the launch of their inaugural book Bay of Fundy’s Hopewell Rocks by Kevin Snair. Kevin will be leading a low tide beach walk starting at Lover’s Arch at 12:30 followed by the official book launch at 2:30 in the Interpretive Center. At 3:00 Kevin will be available to sign copies and prize draws will be done at 4:00.
The park will be open from 9:00 till 5:00 with beach access from opening till 3:25pm. And of course, the gift shop will be open for your shopping pleasure and the café will be showcasing their new menu items. So come on down and celebrate Albert County Appreciation Day as it promises fun for the whole family.
